Each of the four courses to be offered will focus on a different facet of our faith walk: membership, maturity, ministry, and mission. | ||
| Cursillo originally began in Spain within the Roman Catholic Church. It means “short course” in Christianity. The program was adopted by the Episcopal Church, and now the three-day weekends (from Thursday evening to Sunday afternoon) are held throughout the Church and in the Diocese of Texas at Camp Allen. Many parishioners of St. Luke's have attended Cursillo and experienced great spiritual growth. | ||
| Discovery is a weekend of spiritual renewal that is designed specifically for the members of St. Luke's on the Lake. This weekend helps us to nurture both our heart and mind in the joy and excitement of being a Christian. Each fall, members of our church take time out of their busy schedules to stop and examine the roots of Christian belief. | ||
