    Adult Activity and Support Groups

    Enter into fellowship with fellow parishioners and grow in the love of Christ through service, play, or perhaps your favorite hobby.


     
     
     
    FLAMEs ("Folders, Labelers & Mailers Extraordinaire" - office support)
    Spend 1 to 2 hours per week supporting our office staff in preparing mail-outs, folding pew sheets, answering phones, and other administrative duties. 
     
    Guild of the Christ Child (for mothers of young children, weekly): 
    Enjoy monthly meetings with other mothers of young children, children's programs, bible study, and service projects for new moms. Yahoo Newsgroup Page
     
    Order of Dilberts (high technology and website group):
    Support the church office by updating the communications and technology equipment; requires 5-8 hours a month of volunteer commitment.
    Men of St. Luke's / Brother of St. Andrews (for all men of St. Luke's):
    Organizing and working together on numerous projects throughout the year help the men of St. Lukes develop positive relationships and the spirit of teamwork across generations. Enjoy prayer, study, and service under the charter of the fellowship of St. Andrew. Men representing different occupations and generations work together in teams to support many local charities, including Camp Allen scholarships, Promise Keepers, El Buen Samaritano, Habitat for Humanity, BSA Men and Boys Retreat, Crosses for Acolytes, Guild of the Christ Child Breakfast with Santa and more. 

    St. Luke's Mulligans (Golf Group w/tournaments 3-4 times per year):
    Organize games and tournaments with a goal of getting to know the unchurched of our community. 

    Women of St. Luke's (WOSL, for all women of St. Luke's):
    Enjoy fellowship, prayer, speakers, quarterly luncheons, and an annual retreat; participate in service projects such as the United Thank Offering and book scholarship for young college women.
    Young at Heart (social group for senior citizens):
    Enjoy the fellowship of other senior citizens, enjoy monthly meetings and service activities.
