Finding your way at St. Luke's
Newcomers can get acquainted with St. Luke's, the Episcopal Church and other newcomers in a relaxed, low pressure setting.
The St. Luke's community is delighted to welcome newcomers into our parish family. Did you know that 50% of our families have attended less than 5 years? Here are a few ideas to get you involved in the life of our parish, or you can contact the Church office to arrange a personal consultation with any of our clergy or staff.
- During the Sunday service, fill out a newcomer card provided by ushers and drop it in the offering plate. Or contact the church office and speak with a member of our Clergy or staff.
- Newcomer Coffee Hour (above) is held in the Library almost every Sunday to introduce you to St. Luke's and the Episcopal Church, as well as our worship services, parish life and our Clergy.
- Joining a Small Group is a great way to meet people with similar spiritual and ministry interests and make new friends.
- Cross Walk is a series of spiritual formation courses designed to help members of our parish take important and exciting steps in their faith walk. Each of the four courses focuses on a different facet of our faith walk: membership, maturity, ministry, and mission.
- Inquirers Classes
We are committed to growing in our ministry to one another and to the neighboring community. Any ideas or concerns are gratefully appreciated.
