St. Luke’s on the Lake Episcopal Church!

Founded in 1960 as a mission church in a bait shop near Lake Travis in Austin, Texas, St. Luke's has become a dedicated parish of over 400 families, with members of all ages and stages of life.  Through worship, education, study, service, fellowship, and stewardship, we help each other become the people God has created us to be...so we're prepared to do the work God has called us to do.  Please visit us on Sunday morning,s or call us at 266-2455 to learn more about how we can help you and your family on YOUR spiritual journey.

For one week in June, St. Luke's on the Lake was transformed into ancient Egypt as we shared the story of the life of Joseph.  We welcomed nearly 250 children and over 100 volunteers to learn about the many good things God gives us--like hope, special abilities, wisdom, forgiveness, and a family.  "Aw Ibek!" is Egyptian for "May Your Heart Rejoice!".  Indeed, ours did during this wonderful week.  Among our many visitors was Moses, the camel.  He enjoyed pruning the bushes between visits with the kids.
