Vision
OUR MISSION
GOD CALLS US TO BE A COMMUNITY IN CHRIST, AND TO BE CHRIST TO THE WORLD.
WHO WE ARE
We are the Episcopal branch of the Jesus movement on the west side of Austin, seeking to be a community in Christ, and to be Christ to the world. We do this through worship, prayer, service, and fellowship.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
At St. Luke’s on the Lake, we believe in a loving, liberating, and life-giving God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in following the teachings of Jesus Christ, whose life, death, and resurrection saved the world. Most importantly, we have a legacy of aspiring to tell and exemplify God’s love for every human being. Simply put: we believe that God loves you-no exceptions.
We welcome you no matter where you are on your journey of life, and invite you to join us on our journey to express God’s amazing love to the world.
Our Leadership - Vestry
The vestry is the church’s "Board of Directors". Vestry members serve staggered three-year terms. Vestry candidates must be at least 18 years of age and enrolled, confirmed communicants in good standing at St. Luke's on the Lake. Parishioners are welcome to attend vestry meetings, held monthly after the 10:15 AM service.
Contact our vestry here or 512-266-2455.
